What we are

An engineering company for software that gets judged on the day it goes wrong.

Anyone can ship something that works on a good day. We build for the bad one: the malformed input, the dropped link, the 3am shift where someone has to trust what the screen tells them. That is a different engineering standard, and it is the only one we work to.

What we do

We build the systems operations run on.

Four kinds of work. Each one ends in software somebody depends on during a shift.

01

Custom systems

Operator-facing applications and the services behind them, built to the domain rather than adapted from a template.

02

Integration

Making systems that were never designed to talk to each other exchange the right data, reliably, with a record of what moved and when.

03

Data and observability

Pipelines, dashboards, and alerting that tell the people on duty the truth about what the system is doing.

04

Modernisation and support

Taking systems that still work but can no longer be changed safely, and making them changeable. Then staying on to run them.

How we work

Structure before speed.

Every system starts as a load path: what has to hold, what it holds against, and what happens when something gives. We settle that before a line of code is written.

01

Depth

We find the real problem before we build. That costs more up front and less overall.

02

Reliability

We design the failure modes before the features. What happens when the input is wrong, the link drops, or the operator is guessing.

03

Rigour across range

The same standard whether it's a two-week integration or a system you'll run for a decade. We don't keep a B team.

04

Long-term

Systems outlive the people who wrote them. We write for whoever inherits them, and we're still here when they do.

Domains we build for

Deep, correct engineering, whatever the domain.

We're principle-led, not vertical-led. What we learn hardening one domain carries into the next.

Government

Public systems where the audit trail matters as much as the output, and procurement is as demanding as the build.

Energy

Plant and grid operations where software sits next to equipment that is expensive to break and dangerous to guess about.

Critical operations

Utilities, logistics, industrial and healthcare: anywhere a system stopping means the work stops with it.

How we engage

Two tracks, one standard.

Whether the system is yours or ours, the engineering bar doesn't move.

01Engagements

Work we take on.

Fixed scope to start, then for as long as it makes sense. We are selective on purpose, and take only the work we can do properly, at the depth it deserves.

02Products

Built on our own terms.

We're building our own products to the bar we hold client work to. When one is ready to be named, it will appear here, and not a day before.

Commitments

What we put in writing.

Tatvarth Systems was incorporated in 2026. There are no case studies to show you yet, so here is exactly how we work instead. These are terms, not aspirations, and they hold from the first engagement.

01

Scope before code

We won't quote until we understand the problem. If the work shouldn't be built, we'll say so before you've paid for it.

02

The first engagement is bounded

Fixed scope, priced up front, and small enough that you can judge us on it before committing to anything larger.

03

You own the work

Source and IP assign to you on delivery. No licensed runtime, no lock-in, no code held hostage.

04

NDA before disclosure

We sign before you share. Ours is mutual and standard, or we'll work under yours.

05

You talk to the engineers

No account layer between you and the work. The people building your system are the people answering your questions.

06

We decline what we can't do well

Saying no early costs us a project. Saying yes wrongly costs you a system.

Tatvarth comes from Tattvārtha, the true nature of things. Find what is actually happening before deciding what to build. The company is named after the method.

Bring the problem, not the specification. What the operation does, what it must never get wrong, and what is failing today is enough for a first conversation.
